How it works
Create your profile
Tell us about yourself, your family and faith, and what you are looking for in a spouse. Around ten minutes, in four steps.
You confirm your email, we review it
We email you a link to confirm the address is yours. EMCA staff then review every profile before it is approved, and nothing is shown to other members while they do.
You are introduced
Once approved you can sign in to see anonymised profiles that match what you are looking for. Introductions are arranged by EMCA staff.

The Eritrean Muslim Community Association UK has supported the social, welfare, cultural and religious needs of our community for over thirty years. This service is part of that work.
Who it is for
Amanah Eritrean Marriage is for Muslims of Eritrean heritage living in the UK who are looking to marry, whether you have never married, are divorced or are widowed, and whether or not you have children.
Questions
What does it cost?
Registering is free during our launch period. Normally there is a one-off £10 administration fee, which is currently waived for everyone who registers. There is no ongoing subscription. If a fee has been paid and the email address is never confirmed, the details are deleted and the fee is not returned.
Who is it for?
Amanah Eritrean Marriage is for Muslims of Eritrean heritage living in the UK who are looking to marry. EMCA has served this community since 1989 and the service is part of that work.
Who can see my details?
Named EMCA staff involved in running the service see your full profile, and their access to it is logged. Other approved members see an anonymised version only. They never see your name, your date of birth, your email address, your phone number or your trusted contact's details.
What happens after I register?
We email you a link to confirm your address is yours. Nobody reviews your profile until you follow it, and if it is not confirmed within 14 days your details are deleted. After that our team reviews every profile before it is approved, and you can sign in to update your details and to see profiles that match what you are looking for. Other members only ever see the anonymised version.
How are introductions made?
Introductions are arranged by EMCA staff, so no member needs your contact details to reach you.
How long does the form take?
Around ten minutes, in four steps: about you, family and faith, what you are looking for, and your contact details and consent. You will also be asked for a trusted contact, preferably a mahram.
Can I remove my details later?
Yes. You can withdraw your consent and ask EMCA to delete your details at any time, without giving a reason, by emailing amanahem@emca.org.uk.
